HΛV
is a Nordic flute and guitar duo, which consists of the Sámi-Finnish flutist Marianne Sihvonen and the Faroese guitarist Alvi Joensen.
They are an ambitious and forward looking duo which has premiered several new pieces by Nordic composers, such as Sunleif Rasmussen, Ville Raasakka and Ylva Fred, and is constantly working with new ones. The duo focuses especially on addressing and processing environmental issues through newly written music.
